About the Role

As our Working Student - Systems Test Engineer (m/f/d),  you will be responsible for the following topics: 
  • Work with EV charging systems with an understanding of the charger architecture, key components, automation control, and application software
  • Support in testing charging systems which includes but not limited to the following tasks: 
    • Integrating new electrical components into the charging systems
    • Updating the charging system firmware/software and performing system tests according to the test procedure
    • Contribute to the test procedure description  
    • Automatization of testing procedures
  • Organise documentation of test results and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Support in the maintenance and organisation of lab equipment and supplies
  • Keep track of new Electric Vehicles coming to the market and coordinate interoperability test activities.

About You

You are a great match for what we are looking for if you bring with you the following skills and experience: 
  • You are an enrolled engineering Bachelor or Master student with a focus on electrical engineering, automotive technology or demonstrate equivalent knowledge
  • You are passionate about electric vehicles and new market trends
  • You have fundamental knowledge in electrical drawings and are able to understand wiring schematics
  • You are flexible and a team player with a high level of commitment and initiative
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A valid class B driving licence is an advantage
