About the Role

As our Embedded Application Developer (m/f/d), you will have the chance to develop new and exciting features for EcoG and contribute to a sustainable future. You will work on the application integration of modern EV charging systems and develop modern features and robustness for the EV charging infrastructure.

About You

You have an engineering degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a similar field.
You have over 3 years of experience working as an Embedded Application Developer (m/w/d) - (preferably Linux and microcontroller), ideally with experience in the e-mobility sector
You are structured and well-driven and can take on initiatives to improve quality, and performance and to drive the direction of the product.
Understanding of IoT device management and message exchange systems.
You are well-versed with cross-compiling and remote debugging, you’re experienced with embedded Linux systems and ideally also real time operating systems (freeRTOS)
You are proficient with C/C++
Experience with Rust or Golang is desirable
You have strong communication skills and can work in agile and international environments.
IT security experience is a big plus

Your day at EcoG

You will be responsible for the product development life cycle from requirements analysis, launch to in-field operation.
Design, implement and automate testing within the development process.
You will be in charge of refactoring and continuously improving the code base of our core value product, ensuring we are adaptable to market trends
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications
Integrate new components from our broad partner ecosystem into our application and continuously test it with the newest electric vehicles on the market
